From Pyeongtaek station to Children's Grand Park in Seoul (line 7)
Admission into the park: Free
Open 5am-10pm (Zoo, Botanical garden closes early at 6pm)
What does it have to offer? Great place to have a picnic with your child, view the animals in the mini zoo, relax on the pagoda, view the botanical garden, and musical fountain. There also a museum inside the park. The cost is 4,000 won for adult and 3,000 Won for a child 3 and over.
Getting There by Bus and subway:
- Pyeongtaek Bus terminal is 5 minute walk from Pyeongtaek station. Go get a ticket for Nambu Terminal. It should be about 4,500 Won for adult (toddler is free on lap) and older children should be discounted price.
- Next, get out of the bus terminal and head to the Nambu Subway station. Transfer to Express bus terminal to line 7 and get off at Children's Grand Park Station (about 8 stops after Express bus terminal). It's after Konkuk university. The exit number is number 1.
